Granola

Ingredients

  • 6 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 cup copped walnuts
  • 1 1/2 cups honey
  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients
  2. Mix in oil, honey, and vanilla
  3. Spread on a large cookie sheet
  4. Bake at 350º, stirring every 7-10 minutes, until it starts to brown evenly.

Notes

  • When we make a “half” batch, we usually halve the oats and drop the oil and honey to 1 cup each, but use the full amount of the rest of the ingredients.
  • Be careful toward the end of baking, as it will go from brown to burned quickly.
