Granola
Ingredients
- 6 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup wheat germ
- 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- 1 cup copped walnuts
- 1 1/2 cups honey
- 1 1/2 cups oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Mix dry ingredients
- Mix in oil, honey, and vanilla
- Spread on a large cookie sheet
- Bake at 350º, stirring every 7-10 minutes, until it starts to brown evenly.
Notes
- When we make a “half” batch, we usually halve the oats and drop the oil and honey to 1 cup each, but use the full amount of the rest of the ingredients.
- Be careful toward the end of baking, as it will go from brown to burned quickly.
