Cinnamon Rolls

Rolls

Ingredients

  • One loaf worth of dough (15oz. flour) - consider milk instead of water
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Make dough. Let rise once.
  2. Make caramel topping.
  3. Mix filling.
  4. Roll out dough, to rough 15” square
  5. Spread melted butter on dough, then sprinkle filling on dough
  6. Roll up dough, slice roll into approximately 1” tall rolls (12-15)
  7. Place rolls on caramel topping
  8. Let rise
  9. Heat oven to 350
  10. Bake 30-35 minutes
  11. Let stand 3-5 minutes
  12. Flip onto platter

Filling

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or raisins, if desired
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar or packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients

Topping

Ingredients

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup pecan halves, if desired

Instructions

  1. Heat brown sugar and butter in sauce pan, to boiling.
  2. Remove from heat, stir in corn syrup
  3. Pour into 9x13 pan
  4. Sprinkle with pecans
