Cinnamon Rolls
Rolls
Ingredients
- One loaf worth of dough (15oz. flour) - consider milk instead of water
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
- Make dough. Let rise once.
- Make caramel topping.
- Mix filling.
- Roll out dough, to rough 15” square
- Spread melted butter on dough, then sprinkle filling on dough
- Roll up dough, slice roll into approximately 1” tall rolls (12-15)
- Place rolls on caramel topping
- Let rise
- Heat oven to 350
- Bake 30-35 minutes
- Let stand 3-5 minutes
- Flip onto platter
Filling
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or raisins, if desired
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar or packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients
Topping
Ingredients
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup pecan halves, if desired
Instructions
- Heat brown sugar and butter in sauce pan, to boiling.
- Remove from heat, stir in corn syrup
- Pour into 9x13 pan
- Sprinkle with pecans
