Cheese Ball

Ingredients

  • 8oz. cream cheese
  • 1/4 to 1/2lb. bleu cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • finely chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Place cheeses in mixer bowl and let stand at room temperature until softened.
  2. Beat on medium speed until well mixed.
  3. Add onion and Worcestershire sauce and beat well.
  4. Stir in pecans.
  5. Chill 3-4 hours.
  6. Roll cheese mixture into one large ball, chill, and then roll in parsley.
  7. Put on a serving plate and chill 2 hours or until firm.
  8. Serve with a variety of crackers.

Notes

  • Specifically the “moss ball” (because of the chopped parsley covering the outside)
  • Consider rolling in chopped nuts instead of parsley
